About the event
Many professionals are trained to produce information but not trained to translate information into public understanding.
Reports are published. Dashboards are launched. Articles are written. Yet audiences are often left to interpret meaning on their own — without clear connection to the issue, the policy context shaping outcomes, or the implications for communities.
The IPAR Method™ (Issue, Policy, Analysis, Resources) provides a structured framework for interpretation that helps practitioners move from information production to meaning-making.
The IPAR Story Lab™ provides space to apply this framework in practice.
Participants develop original work grounded in evidence and oriented toward public understanding.

IPAR Story Lab™ Summer Cohort
A 6-week working cohort where participants develop an original IPAR Report (Issue, Policy, Analysis, Resources) supported by data and produce a public-facing article to be published on One Purpose Magazine. Designed for professionals working with research, data, policy, and public communication who want a structured framework for translating complex information into public understanding. Space is limited to maintain a focused lab environment.
